  1. Gross margin, will it attract the right contractors?

Cooperation with contractor and labor organizations will be crucial to our business model. We see them as partners in developing our pricing multipliers and making adjustments to changing market conditions.


  1. How does the app account for tools, trip charges, rental equipment etc.?

Tools and Rentals will be included as line items before the final bill is calculated. Trip charges will be included in the hourly cost, and customers will be able to track their contractors progress to their location with an interactive map.


  1. How will the app allow for changes in scope to protect the client and contractor?

The T&M portion of the app will be based on the amount of time that they are at the location. But, later versions that will include bidding functions will also include a submittal for extras and change orders which will be approved by the customer.


  1. Can a GPS function be added to let customers know that the contractor is on their way or traveling to a supply house?

GPS functions are essential to this application, contractors GPS options on their phones will be used for billing purposes.


  1. Could a project estimator be included in the app?

Yes, we already planned on having a questioner included for customers which would be able to give the customers an estimated number of hours for their services based on typical completion times and expenses.


  1. How would we include material costs?

The early versions of the app would simply include a line item for material cost. But, later versions will include an interactive material list which can be automatically sent out to area supply houses to submit bids on the material needed to finish a project. When a supplier is selected it could also have orders available in will call, or delivered to the address of the project.


  1. Why would a contractor participate on a platform like this?

This platform will allow established contractors to eliminate a lot of the traditional overhead of doing business and allow them to expand their market scope. It will also give new contractors a turn-key business model that will eliminate many of the barriers that cause them to struggle early on. All without any cost for the contractor on advertisement.
